Chris’s background spans K-12 education, higher education and the public service sector.
Chris currently serves as Head of School of Gateway Academy in Staten Island, NY, and is a former Teacher, Director of Development, and Principal at other private and public schools.
Chris also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University’s Department of Government, Politics, and Global Affairs, where he received a Teaching and Service Award, and the College of Staten Island’s Department of Political Science and Global Affairs.
Chris has been published in American Thinker, Hartford Courant, New Haven Register, Republican-American, Jerusalem Post and the New York Daily News, among other print media. He has made appearances on CT Fox News, WTNH News 8, WDRC radio, WGRC PA radio and WMCA’s Kevin McCullough show.
Chris previously served as a Policy and Communications Aide to the Mayor of Jersey City, N.J. He played key roles in education, property tax, and transportation reform initiatives. In Connecticut, Chris received a gubernatorial appointment to the Metro North-New Haven Rail Council and a legislative appointment to the Statewide Property Tax Cap Commission. Chris served one term on the town legislative body in Fairfield, CT and was twice a nominee for Connecticut State Representative.
Chris is married to Deneen, a Speech-Language Pathologist, and they are the proud parents of three young children. Chris and his family reside in NYC.
